Milton Butler is one of the founders of Butler & Gary Logistics. He is a proven leader in operations, project management as well as techniques to improve processes. He is a retired 20-year Navy military veteran with an MBA and comprehensive background in developing and implementing strategies that support operations.  As a Surface Warfare Officer with an emphasis in shipboard engineering, Milton developed extensive knowledge in operations management, logistics management, financial management and regulatory compliance.

Inspired by his Uncle Mack, Milton decided to join forces with his brother-in-law Marvin Gary (who had more than one million miles of non-accident driving experience) and take his uncle’s advice and purchase the company’s very first Kenworth tractor truck. Marvin’s 20 years of experience in the trucking industry proved to be invaluable to the company’s success, and after a prosperous first year, the company purchased its second Kenworth (along with a Freightliner) and grew the team to five drivers.  

Fun Fact about Milton: He has been white water rafting on the Colorado River, traveled through the Panama Canal and sailed all around the South American continent and loves to smoke a variety of meats in his backyard smoker for friends and family.

Marvin Gary, the second founder of Butler & Gary Logistics, is a 21-year retired Army veteran, with an MBA in Project Management and proven management and operations experience.  As an owner operator with the moving company United Van Lines, Marvin managed teams of 4-6 personnel serving customers in 48 states.  Marvin’s experience and endorsements also include box trucks, tankers, and HAZMAT, and his mechanical aptitude and expertise helps keep our fleet in exceptional working condition.
